Announcing the Senior Outdoor Locations!

* Our Downtown Loft—1720 3rd Avenue North Birmingham

This beautiful 5000 sq ft loft 1 block west of the historic Alabama Theater offers a spectacular setting for gorgeous indoor and outdoor Senior Portraits. This takes us at PPG back to our roots where we operated our downtown studio for years. The urban outdoor setting is a stark contrast to our outdoor setting at Civitan Park where we take advantage of nature as our backdrop

Beginning at the stone gazebo that represents Trussville’s Gateway, our portrait photographer will use the Cahaba,  the gazebo, the Iron Bridge and more for most memorable backdrops. Nothing says Trussville like this beautiful park in the heart of town.

Your Senior Portraits will be your first step into what will surely be one of your most exciting and memorable experiences...your Senior Year!  This will be a year that you will remember for a lifetime and Principle Portrait Group is committed to helping you relive this exciting time for years to come through your beautiful Senior Portraits.

 

Because we are located in Trussville, we will be able to offer a different approach to Senior Portraits.  In the past, all Senior Portraits were shot in one week at the school.  This summer, the Senior Portrait sittings will be in our local studio and appointments will be spread over 3-4 weeks.  This will make it easier for you to plan vacations and athletic, band and church camps without worrying about missing your student’s scheduled sitting. Best of all, fewer students will be scheduled at the same time allowing our photographers to focus on each senior and give them the attention they deserve.

 

Other additions will include multiple outdoor locations for portraits, earlier pick-up for proof portfolios and  earlier order placement. We will offer three outdoor locations and you may choose two for your portraits. Since the outdoor portraits have become a favorite, we’re sure that you will enjoy having more choices.

 

Your Senior Portraits are scheduled for this summer and you will be contacted through the mail with your scheduled appointment time.  These are a few tips and additional information that will help make your Senior Portrait sitting an enjoyable and stress free experience.

 

What to wear– Your sitting fee includes two outfits.  We suggest one casual and one “dressy”, but most importantly, choose clothes that you are comfortable wearing.  You may bring additional outfits for a cost of $10.00 per outfit.  Tux and drapes are provided for your formal portraits at no additional cost.

 

Where are the portraits shot?- Your Senior Portraits will be shot at our studio here in Trussville.  You will have your formal tux and drape sitting as well as indoor casual portraits and outdoor casuals.  You will have your choice of different outdoor locations.

 

Props?- You should feel free to bring any props that are part of your high school life.  These could include football helmets, athletic uniforms, cheerleading outfits, lettermen’s jacket, awards, musical instruments or anything else that reflects your interests.  Use your imagination and let the portraits show the real you!

 

How much does all of this cost?- The sitting fee is only $25.00 for everything you have seen listed. You will receive a portfolio of proofs to review and decide the best package to order.   We offer 10 packages ranging from $69.00 to $495.00 to suit any need. There is even a “Build Your Own Package” that allows you to choose the  poses and sizes best suited for you! We also offer ala carte items so that you can add anything you need to any package.

 

Is there a minimum purchase? - Absolutely not! There are many fine photographers in the Birmingham area, but most require a minimum purchase of hundreds of dollars of portraits even if you aren’t happy with them You are under no obligation to purchase anything from Principle Portrait Group. We want to earn your business. In fact, if you aren’t happy, we will re-shoot your portraits and no additional cost.

 

Scheduling conflicts- If there is a problem with your scheduled sitting time, just call our office and we’ll happily reschedule your shoot.  We have plenty of days and appointments available for our seniors.
